3 For Write3: Have You Met Our Cousins?

Plus 10 words to avoid in your writing

3 For Write3: Have You Met Our Cousins?

Good morning Write3 family!

Here's:•1 Tip For Writers•1 Write3 Opportunity•1 Literary NFT Worth CollectingEnjoy!

1. Writer's Tip - 10 Words To Avoid

Filler words weaken our message as writers.  It's great to write in our "voice", but too many filler words make our work informal and disorganized.  10 words I try to avoid:

just, very, really, things, stuff, got, anyway, actually, so, and basically.

I recommend writing apps such as Hemingway or Grammarly to help you create writing that is clear & confident. And don't forget to hit publish!

2. Write3 Opportunity - The Coders Room

Film3 and Write3 have plenty in common.  According to film3.org:

"Film3 is the next generation of media industry where the blockchain and digital communities replace those many layers of middlemen and redistribute revenue across a flat organizational structure."

I like to say Film3 is our Write3 cousin. Recently, I spoke with the award winning director, Luis Enrique Vanegas, about his desire to bring the power of decentralized storytelling to the film industry.

If you're a creative writer or you want to break into film, Vanegas' Coders Room might be the perfect opportunity for you.  You can learn more by visiting The Coders Room website and check out their Twitter Spaces today.

3. A Literary NFT Worth Collecting - Junho

Emanuel Souza is rising star inside the Write3 movement.  I'm happy to collect his most recent work, Junho.  Not only an ode to my favorite genres, The Beatniks, Junho is pushing the limits of how literary NFTs can be created and brought to an audience.

Pay attention to how Souza is using NFT publishing platforms to sell, then engage his audiences on his website.  Souza is offering art airdrops to his collectors and translating his book into several languages.  Those translations are available on his token gated site.  Using no-code tools, Souza is creating a decentralized community of collectors that are able to consume and support him financially.  Exciting!
